Marilyn M. Bui

Marilyn M. Bui, MD, PhD is the Scientific Director of Analytic Microscopy Core at Moffitt Cancer Center, which is the only Florida-based NIH/NCI designated comprehensive cancer center, and the Director of Cytopathology Fellowship at the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Bui is currently a president of DPA.
Her pathology practice is focused on sarcoma and cytopathology. Her research is mainly on the discovery of novel cancer biomarkers, biomarker testing, and development of targeted cancer therapy.

Dr. Bui has strong interest and expertise in the application of digital pathology in patient care, research and education. She has authored and co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications, received multiple awards in cancer research and education, and has been invited to speak at multiple national and international meetings. Dr. Bui is a member of 7 professional societies and 7 editorial boards for medical journals.
